What do you do at The Legal Department?
My position at the Legal Department is assisting the attorneys with the assessments, drafting pertinent documents that pertain to formation, filing those documents with the government, and assembling the filings in an organized manner for the company’s own records.
What are you most looking forward to learning during your time at TLD?
I am most excited to help small business owners with their liability and tax concerns with starting a new company. It is extremely important to protect the owners from liabilities and risk because it is this protection that encourages the owners to branch out and drive the economy.
How will this clerkship help you in your future endeavors?
This clerkship will provide me with valuable transactional experience that will catapult me into the transactional field of the law.
